I have designed this Abstract Wall Sculpture to express the mesmerizing three-dimensional qualities and light-capturing brilliance within the Aluminum. Layered upon the artwork are 5 embossed symbol details giving this piece an organic yet contemporary style. I hand grind and polish the intricate textures into the metal to reveal layers of deep metal carves that build dramatic illusions of depth and dimension. The reflections from the unpainted, silver-toned polished metal will be especially appreciated in person when the textures have a chance to dazzle you with their luminance and movement. I ordered this item, and at the time it was listed with a size of 48" x 12 " x 2".. which was exactly what I wanted... however it delivered at 48" x 9" x 2"... I was disappointed because I really feel like it doesn't have the dynamic expression it would at the 12" size.. however Jon made me two complimentary pieces for the opposing wall which brings the entire statement together and I have had nothing but over the top comments on the art work. I still wish it was the 12"... but it would not have been cost affective to ship it back and have it re-done... on Jon's website, he still lists this piece at 48x12.. but I see that the size here is now 9"... so who knows... I can honestly state Jon's work is absolutely out of this world beautiful...he is giving Ash Carl a run for his money for sure... in fact, I think Jon has surpassed him. I wish I could afford several more pieces of his work,, especially his clocks.... You won't go wrong with a piece of Jon's art work. But do make sure you confirm the finished size! I thought I had.... but still glad I have it...Enjoy it all day as it is in my Salon.. Thanks Jon and Carla,
