I have a couple of jumbo pots for big soups, big pasta water boils, big all other stuff. But this one is the perfect "go to" size that I find myself reaching for all the time. The fact it is non-stick is an added, but forgotten about bonus. It paid off when I did a decent size run of gumbo, everything cleaning nicely, but the beauty is the size. It stores inside the big brother in the pan drawer, and I change out and use the lid on my All Clad 10" sauce pan, which didn't come with a lid. Others more knowledgeable have spoken at length about the uniform heating qualities of All Clad, and yes, they are all true. You will use it and love it, and some day, hand it down to that deserving child that picked up the knack and love for cooking.
