This is an attractive and popular grandfather clock kit. I just received it and have not started to put it together yet, but as a kit the part quality looks good. One warning... the clock kit from Amazon (or Klockit) DOES NOT include the front and side glass panels. Amazon does not mention this in their webpage and does not offer the glass kit for sale either separately or packaged with the clock. You have to order the kit #99182 from Klockit for $179.99 and with shipping it will cost you close to an additional $200 total.

I have no idea why the glass is not included in the kit price, and the $20+ in shipping would probably be less if it was included with the other six boxes the grandfather clock is shipped to you in. Unfortunately, you are kind of stuck after shelling out $2,200 for the kit and then still need to purchase the glass kit separately.
