This review is for a queen size mattress. Never having used a foam mattress as our main bed, this is all new to us. First off, it's very comfy. We and are in our late forties are getting those aches and pains that can disturb your sleep, and this bed reduces much of that, because although it's reasonably firm, it gives way to the contours of your body. It did take some getting used to, and I cannot say my chronic back ache is cured, but it seems a bit better and my hip ache is better. One thing that may add to the comfort is you can move around and get situated without disturbing the other person, so you are more likely not to fall asleep in a bad position. I told my friends I can do stretches and even Olympic exercises on my side while my husband snoozes away peacefully on his side.

The picture does not show a box spring that comes with the mattress but ours came with one, which is great. The box spring was slightly damaged in shipping - one of the metal pieces got bent down inside of it, but it does not look noticeable or feel noticeable when I'm on the bed. The box spring is covered with pretty black felty material and looks very nice - we just use the two mattresses straight onto the floor and they look great, plus later we could get a bed instead of the box spring if we want.

Biggest drawback: A foam mattress is warmer than the spring type, as it conforms to your body without letting any air pass through. Next summer I will have to figure out something to reduce this sensation - maybe some special mattress pad or something.

All my queen sheets that I bought here on Amazon.com fit great - actually a little better than my old mattress since the slightly taller mattress leaves no extra bunching material anywhere, however, I was interested in a cooler mattress pad and unsure if that would fit with the sheets. I will report back here again if I try one.

All in all - a very luxurious bed. It's like sleeping on a cloud. I feel like I should be taking a harp to bed with me.
