I purchased 2 chairs for my sitting room over 2 years ago.
Cushions are firm, you DONT sink into the bottom & easy to maintain/clean.

**I purchased the Grey Velvet NOT Smoke Grey Velvet** The grey velvet is a dark rich color, plush material (doesn't look cheap at all!).

Note: check the measurements, these chairs are slightly wider than a club chair but perfect for curling up with a good book & cup of coffee. Very roomy.
