Ten years ago I bought this same rug in a 12 x 17ft size and it was the most amazing rug--deep pile, lustrous and the burgundy was deep but not maroon. Got compliments from everyone who ever saw it! So when I moved to a house with smaller living room area I sold it and ordered the same rug in a smaller size. It was not the same in quality... the colors were still true but the pile was not as deep and not lustrous at all and certainly not hand-tufted (it is glued) as described and there were little longer pieces of yarn sticking out here and there that I plucked out by hand. Very strange. It is a good rug, with lining on the back side but I was expecting the "wow factor" of my previous rug.
