Just received this rug. It's beautiful, deep charcoal that looks great against our almost black dark wood floors. However, having just unrolled the rug upon delivery, it has a section that has very hard white spots deep in the pile of the rug. I thought maybe it was food or gum stuck in the pile, so I tried to pick it off with my finger...it crusted and flaked off. I actually think it might be a cheap thread from the weave that got mixed into the base of the rug? And the crusting would mean it's old and dried out? I'm perplexed. It doesn't visually stand out when you vacuum. But when I touch the spot when sitting on the floor, it's hard in that area. Rug also came with many pulls I had to snip off. And another spot that looked dirty/crusty and was brown (more likely food?). I'm wondering if this was a display model somewhere before it was shipped? On the other hand, there was also a "stripe" across the center of the rug we originally thought was a discoloration but we now suspect is just an indentation that will fluff up once it's been unrolled awhile...indicating maybe it was rolled up for awhile. Also, while the rug is pretty solidly colored, there are random white/ivory threads here and there that make the rug look like there's link all over it. They are part of the weave. Very odd. If all these oddities weren't present, I'd probably give it a 5.

I bought this rug for my living room to place under my sectional sofa. All of the sites i found this rug on stated the main color is charcoal and it looks charcoal in the pics. WARNING: It is not! I would say this rug is dark brown (with a grey-ish undertone) w/tan/beige design. Overall, the quality is really nice. It sheds a lot at first but we're happy w/our purchase. We accepted the brown color as it still works with our decor.

The rug arrived earlier than expected and while the quality is fine. It is not the rug shown in the picture. It is as if you took 1/4 of the design work shown in the Amazon picture. There are not as many flowers or leaves. There are three flowers and more leaves. Also the color is a more golden(yellowish)trim not tan and the center background color is not as dark of a brown as shown in the center. The other colors that are shown here on the amazon picture are fall colors. The rug I received has more bright colors in it (pink, yellow, etc.) The main thing is this is NOT the rug I received, again the design doesn't match up. The seller claims that they sent the right item and it is a picture lighting issue. But AGAIN I say it isn't a lighting issue it is a totally different rug! I am trying to work out a return right now with the seller but I am having trouble getting a full refund at present. I will update my post accordingly.

UPDATE - The Seller looked at both pictures and agreed with me. They have issued me a return label and upon receiving the rug will issue me a full refund. They were very courteous and prompt through out the process.

We are very happy with this 6' x 6' rug. We shopped locally for a square rug, but couldn't find one. This rug is good looking, plush, and comfortable to walk on. We put the Ultra Plush Rug Pad (also from Amazon) under the rug to make sure that it doesn't slip on our hardwood floor. The Rug Pad only came in a 6' x 9' size, so we cut it down to fit.
